The Dutch Labrador Retriever Club Annual Specialty Show,
Sunday April 25th was another memorable and record breaking day in the life of Louis.
Entered in the Open dog class (entry of 47) at the tender age of 20 months he was the youngest dog in the class.
The climax escalated when it came down to Louis, his half brother and his father together competing for top honours. Louis made his mark by wining the class.
In the final line up for the CAC he was awarded the res CAC (total of 193 males).
A special thanks to all of the judges who have admired the fine qualities of our boy and have awarded him top honours!

Homeward bound, of to the land of the breed's origin! A dream in fullfilling
Today at the Brussels Int. dog show Louis finished his debut in the Youth class with style. Winning the youth class he was awarded his qualifying ticket for crufts "the show of shows"
This is the highest accolade possible He will now be competing at the "olympics" for dogs in Birmingham, England.

Anther day, another show and best of breed again!
Admired by allrounder judges for his sound movement and clean outline, Louis was appreciated by breed specialist judges this weekend as well for his correct breed type. This weekend at the Nordrhein Westfalen Specialty Show in Germany hosted by the German Labrador Retriever Club, Louis not only won the youth class and became the youth sieger he also became best of breed and became the Nordrhein Westfalen Sieger for 2009.
Louis continues his winning ways at home and abroad. He is now a Dutch youth champion, a German youth champion and already has 2 of the three required youth CACs to become a German Labrador Club youth champion. He is well on his way to becoming a "triple crown champion" attaining the three coveted youth champion titles.

Another great day to remember in the life of Louis. On 01.11.2009 Louis was entered in the International dog show in Hannover. Our aim was for him to win the youth class enabling him to complete his German youth championship.
Louis made his presence felt again doing another back to back achievement form his previous show. After winning the youth class he was again awarded best of breed. A thrill in itself as he continues his wining ways in both Holland and Germany.
To end the day successfully he was warded second place in the gundog group.
Louis is only 14 months old and is according to our knowledge one of the youngest Labradors in the history of the breed to attain such top honours at such an early age! He has attained his Dutch and German youth championships each in three consecutive shows, a remarkable achievement itself!
We would like to thank all the judges who have appreciated and recognized the fine qualities in our young man.
